David R. DiGiacomo and Gerald H. Jaggers began practicing together in 1985 and formed the firm of DiGiacomo & Jaggers, LLP in 1989. Douglas J. Perko, after a year as a Clerk to Colorado Supreme Court Justice Kirshbaum, began practicing with the firm in 1986, and became a partner of DiGiacomo, Jaggers, & Perko, LLP in 1998. The firm's outstanding support staff includes legal assistants.

Located in Arvada, Colorado, DiGiacomo, Jaggers, & Perko, LLP provides legal services not only to persons in the Denver metropolitan area and elsewhere in the State of Colorado, but also to clients as far away as Florida, New York and Australia. The firm has been involved in legal cases in several other states besides Colorado, including Arizona and Alaska.

DiGiacomo, Jaggers, & Perko, LLP believes in service to community, and its members have acted on those beliefs via membership in various Boards including civic groups, the School Board, church agencies and other non-profits. The Firm has provided annual financial support to the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, the YMCA and other non-profits. The firm has also represented persons who are indigent in courts throughout the Metro area.

In mid 2022, both David R. DiGiacomo and Gerald H. Jaggers retired from the active practice of law. We who remain at the firm will miss their valuable input and guidance, and we wish both Dave and Jerry the best during their well-deserved retirements.

Douglas J. Perko, a partner in DiGiacomo, Jaggers, & Perko, LLP, has practiced law for more than 36 years and began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Howard M. Kirshbaum of the Colorado Supreme Court. A graduate of the University of Colorado Law School, Mr. Perko has been active in various civic and community projects.
Douglas J. Perko
Mr. Perko, a native of Arvada, did his undergraduate work at the University of Colorado, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was also a Jacob Van Ek Scholar. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 1985, where he was a member of the University of Colorado Law Review.
Mr. Perko was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1985. He also has been admitted to the Bars of the United States District Court for Colorado (1985), 10th Circuit Court of Appeals (1985), United States District Court Arizona (1993), and the United States District Court Alaska (1994). Mr. Perko served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Howard M Kirshbaum, Colorado Supreme Court, from 1985-86. Mr. Perko became an associate to David R. DiGiacomo in 1986, an associate to DiGiacomo & Jaggers in 1989, and a partner of DiGiacomo, Jaggers, & Perko, LLP in 1998.
Mr. Perko holds memberships in several associations, including the Colorado Bar Association, the 1st Judicial District Bar Association and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. A former member of the Kiwanis, Mr Perko also provided service to his community as a member of the Board of Directors of A Step Up, a local youth development non-profit corporation, and as a frequent guest speaker on law at local schools and community groups.
Mr. Perko's main areas of practice include plaintiff personal injury, employment law and civil litigation. Mr. Perko is married and has four children.
